I used to take magnesium at night, either after dinner around 7–8PM or right before bed at 10–11PM, and it actually gave me nightmares and insomnia. At first, I didn’t think it was the supplement but I noticed that on the nights I skipped it, I slept fine. When I tried taking it again before bed, the same thing happened. So I switched to taking it in the late afternoon, around 3–5PM, and honestly, it works so much better for me. I sleep better now, my stress feels more manageable, and I’m generally calmer. I love it.
