1. When should I take my daily dose?
All of our products are created with optimal absorption in mind. We generally recommend that you take your daily dose with a meal and enough water! You don’t need to take it with the same meal everyday, but your stomach should be lined to ensure no unwanted tummy aches and optimal absorption!
2. When do my products expire?
We pack and ship our products right to you because we want you to get the absolute best! Our supplements are safe for up to a year after the manufacturing date (noted by MFG on the bottom of your pack), after which we recommend disposing of them responsibly!
3. How will I know what each of the pills are in my pack?
Your order will always include a set of cards highlighting the vitamins, minerals, and herbs in your box- there are images and nutrition facts to help you out, too! You can also login to your account and find out what’s in your pack by clicking My Account > Orders
4. What are the ‘supers’?
A ‘super’ is a patented product that we have sourced and formulated just for you. Our ‘supers’ undergo extensive and rigorous clinical trials and evaluation processes. Our ‘supers’ are considered to be some of the best extracts in the world and have been formulated with their most bioactive counterparts to ensure optimal absorption in your body!
5. What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is an alternative medicine system with historical roots across the Indian subcontinent, and is the oldest form of holistic healing. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur, which means life, and veda, which means science or knowledge. The core tenets of Ayurveda believe that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit.
6. Are your products vegetarian friendly?
Yes! All our products, both the raw ingredients and capsules, are vegetarian friendly! For any other dietary restrictions, please refer to the nutritional facts of each product.
7. Are your products organic?
We source organic ingredients whenever possible. In short, we are always simply looking for the best, most bio-available products for you! However, our full product is not certified organic for a couple of reasons, the main one being that certain herbs or herb forms are not available in an organic form, and therefore we would not be able to offer them in our product library. Additionally, while each product may not be organic, we do make sure that all our products are synthetic filler free, preservative free, GMO free, stearate free, gluten free, soy free, and colorant free!
8. Are your products clinically tested?
A selection of Moom’s ingredients have been tested in randomized double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical trials- specifically our ‘super’ range. Traditionally, there have not been many clinical studies completed on herbs, but the benefits of adaptogens have been illustrated for thousands of years in Ayurveda, and even Traditional Chinese Medicine. We are always looking for avenues to increase our clinical testing and are constantly seeking ways to further improve our offering- ensuring that you are getting the best!
9. Is your packaging environmentally friendly?
Yes! Our vitamin packs are made from biodegradable plastic, specifically by the Reverte® additive that degrades the polymer chain, making it available for biodegradability when the item has finished its life. Our biodegradable packs comply with FDA, EU and CFIA regulations and ensure that your vitamins are protected and stay fresh for you!
Our vitamin dispensers and informational cards are made from and printed on sugar cane pulp! Additionally, our mailer boxes are 100% recyclable- so please recycle (or upcycle) it! Both our dispensers and cards are certified home and industrially compostable, leaving behind no toxic residue and creating nutrient-rich compost.
10. Are your products pregnancy friendly?
While there are no ingredients that are directly contraindicated during pregnancy, we definitely recommend consulting your doctor before taking and introducing any new products during this time- Moom or otherwise!
11. Can I take Moom while breastfeeding?
There may be few ingredients in our products that are cautioned during breastfeeding because they could decrease milk production. To be safe, always speak to your doctor before taking any natural health products, including the products by Moom.
12. How long will it take to see results?
Consistency is key and a daily dose of minerals, vitamins, and herbs that your body needs is, unfortunately, not an overnight fix! We would love to say that you will begin to see changes within a week or two, but real change will truly only begin after 3-4 months of a daily ritual!
13. Do I need to store my Moom in a particular way?
All our formulas are room temperature stable! That being said, given the humidity and heat in Singapore, we’d recommend storing them out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dark place.
14. Is Moom HSA approved?
Did you know that supplements aren’t regulated by the HSA? There are, however, certain guidelines suggested by MOH and HSA, and at Moom, our quality, sourcing, packaging, and health and safety standards go way beyond government controls- and will continue to do so as we continue to develop and grow!
15. Why is my pee 'extra' yellow?
If you have a B-complex in your daily pack, and you have noticed that your pee is ‘extra’ yellow – don’t be alarmed! This is totally normal. B-vitamins are water-soluble (meaning they dissolve in water and aren’t stored in your body). Therefore, your body will use what it needs and the rest comes out when you pee! It doesn’t mean that your body isn’t absorbing them, it’s just getting rid of excess. So, it’s important to take your B-complex everyday to replenish your body.
